While discovering their gifts, talents, visions and purpose, our mentees soon discover their REAL identities, boost their confidence and gain a new respect and appreciation for the music industry and the opportunities given to them in life, in addition to creating life-changing music.

works in conjunction with Winning at the Race of Life® Mentorship. Student's acceptance is based on interview, application and audition.

Meet our Founder

"As a child of adoption, my heart’s desire is to sing, write, record and produce songs that give people hope; helping them find their real life's purpose and inspiring them to help others do the same."

 

Janeen Ferdinand, founder of Mentoring with Music & The Blessing Publishing House® 
 is a singer, songwriter, voiceover artist and producer with three independent Pop / RnB releases and a Boston Music Award Nomination. She has worked with multi-platinum, Grammy award winning producers Maurice Starr, Michael Jonzun, Donnie Wahlberg (New Edition and New Kids on the Block), Gerald Lee (songwriter for the multiple Grammy award winning singer Patti LaBelle) and Grammy nominated producer, saxophonist, Scott Mayo.
 
Janeen has toured around the U.S. for many years performing, recording and opening for numerous national acts like multiple Grammy Award winners The Fugees.
She currently performs live, writes music, produces up and coming artists, mentors youth and does voiceovers, jingles, and composes and sings music for advertising, tv and film.

She is former worship leader for Pillars of Faith Christian Center and current music supervisor for Winning at the Race of Life®.
For many years she has faithfully served as Executive Assistant for Hollywood stuntman, speaker, author and race car driver Sammy Maloof.

Janeen humbly receives invitations to sing and work on various projects with artists from all over the world.
